Donate Stock

Give From Your IRA

If you are 70½ or older, you may be able to make a charitable gift directly from your IRA—often called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). This is a simple way to support WARM NC, and it may help reduce taxable income while satisfying Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), if applicable.

Perfect for: Donors age 70½+ who want to give through retirement assets.
How it works: Contact your IRA administrator and request a QCD made payable directly to WARM NC. If you’d like, we can help you with the details your administrator may ask for.

Legacy Giving

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

Donor-Advised Funds are a convenient way to give—whether you’re making a one-time gift or supporting WARM annually through your fund.

Perfect for: Donors who manage charitable giving through a DAF.
How it works: Recommend a grant from your DAF provider to WARM NC using our organization details.

Helpful note: DAF gifts sometimes arrive without the donor’s name or contact information. If you’d like us to thank you properly, please email us after you make your DAF recommendation.

Host A Fundraiser

Fundraisers are fun, community-powered, and genuinely impactful. Whether it’s a birthday fundraiser, workplace giving challenge, church event, or neighborhood drive—your fundraiser helps raise funds and awareness for safe housing.

Sponsor A Rebuild

Sponsor a rebuild and make a direct, meaningful impact for a local homeowner in need. Sponsorship opportunities range from $15,000–$25,000 and help fund critical home repairs that improve safety, accessibility, and quality of life. Sponsors also have the opportunity to get involved through hands-on volunteer days, giving your team a chance to be part of the transformation from start to finish.

Material or Item Donation

Some projects can benefit from approved material or item donations. These contributions help stretch donor dollars and can reduce project costs—so we can serve more homeowners.

Perfect for: Businesses, contractors, and donors with relevant materials.
How it works: Before dropping anything off, please contact us to confirm what we can accept and what we currently need.

Drop-off details:
Materials may be dropped off Monday through Thursday between 8am and 4pm, or by appointment.

Quick Note: We can only accept certain items due to safety and storage limitations.

Support WARM Through SECC

State employees can support WARM NC through the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC)—an easy way to give through workplace giving.
