Kim Gore

Kim serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM), where her role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities. She has oversight responsibilities for all aspects of services to WARM homeowners and performance improvements supporting WARM NC Traditional Services, Community Partners, and the Healthy Opportunities Pilot Program.  Kim’s background also includes almost two decades as Nuclear Services Director for General Electric.   

Kim's dedication extends beyond WARM, as she actively nurtures valuable relationships with community partners to further expand on WARM's mission. Kim is an active board member of the Pender Long Term Recovery Group, and participates in general VOAD meetings, and Long-Term Recovery group meetings supporting all counties that WARM NC provides services for.  Kim is also a Certified Aging In Place specialist supporting WARM federal grant programs for all counties. 

Kim has been married to the best husband in the world for over 30 years and her hobbies include exercising, cooking & booking models for local and national brand accounts.

Three fun facts about Kim:

1. The last book I read was Nothing is Missing by Nicole Walters.

2. A trip to Bali and skydiving are on my bucket list.

3. What inspires me the most is hearing from homeowners how we have changed their lives and to make their home a safer place to live.  When you work in a purpose and mission driven environment, its personally fulfilling to know that you have made an impact on someone’s life who felt they had no other avenue for assistance.
