WARM NC receives URP funding
WILMINGTON, NC – WARM NC will repair homes for at least 40 homeowners in New Hanover, Pender, and Onslow counties thanks to a new funding agreement from the NC Housing Finance Agency, awarded through its Urgent Repair Program (URP).
WARM NC serves low-income homeowners with repairs and accessibility improvements to create safe, livable housing in existing homes and neighborhoods in seven counties. Since 1996, WARM has made more than 2,200 families safer at home. The average yearly income of a WARM NC homeowner is less than $20,000.
With nearly 400 families on our waiting list, there is more work to be done. WARM NC looks forward to pursuing future partnerships so we can continue to provide critical home repairs for families throughout southeastern North Carolina.
