Get Help with Home Repairs
Safe, Healthy Homes Start Here.
WARM NC provides critical home repairs and accessibility upgrades at no cost for income-qualified homeowners. Our work focuses on safety, health, and helping people remain in their homes longer—not cosmetic updates or remodels.
What WARM NC Helps With
We focus on repairs that protect your health and safety and keep your home livable, such as:
✓ Accessibility upgrades, including ramps, rails, and safer bathroom access
✓ Urgent health and safety repairs
✓ Roofing and weatherization, as program funding allows
✓ Disaster recovery rebuilds, as available
We do not provide remodels, additions, beautification projects, or general maintenance requests.

Our Service Area
WARM NC serves homeowners across southeastern North Carolina, including Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender counties. Our work reaches both rural communities and coastal towns, helping ensure homeowners throughout the region have access to critical repairs that support safe and stable housing.
Basic Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for WARM NC services, applicants typically must meet these requirements:
-
- Own and live in the home needing repairs (primary residence).
- Have lived in the home for at least 3 years.
- Live within our service area (counties listed above).
- Meet household income guidelines, which vary by county and household size.
- Need repairs that fall within WARM’s scope (safety, health, accessibility, and essential home function).
Meeting basic eligibility does not guarantee services. Because resources are limited, projects are prioritized based on urgency, funding, and capacity.
