Nikki Quick serves as Director of Construction at WARM NC, where she oversees repair and rehabilitation projects from planning through completion. She works closely with internal teams, contractors, and community partners to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and with lasting impact for homeowners across southeastern North Carolina.
With more than a decade of experience spanning healthcare, construction, and nonprofit leadership, Nikki brings a well-rounded perspective to her work. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Construction for a Charlotte-based nonprofit and spent several years with WARM NC managing rehabilitation projects in the field, gaining firsthand experience in the unique housing challenges faced by North Carolina homeowners.
Nikki is a licensed Residential General Contractor in North Carolina and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). She currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Professional Housing Rehabilitation Association of North Carolina (PHRANC), supporting housing rehabilitation professionals across the state.
She is passionate about helping people remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes.
Cathy McClain serves as Chief Development Officer at WARM NC, where she leads fundraising, grant writing, marketing and communications, and volunteer engagement. As a member of the leadership team, she is responsible for building and sustaining philanthropic support to advance WARM NC’s mission and expand its impact for homeowners across southeastern North Carolina.
With more than 40 years of experience in development, Cathy brings deep and diverse expertise across the nonprofit sector, including roles in United Way, higher education, healthcare, and independent schools. Her background spans annual giving, major gifts, and capital campaigns, including work with a Big Ten university, as well as serving as Head of School at an all-girls middle school in Asheville, North Carolina. Cathy is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of nonprofit leaders. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and working on jigsaw puzzles.
Kim Gore serves as Chief Operations Officer at WARM NC, where she oversees the Homeowner Services and Construction teams to ensure effective application intake, case management, and program performance across WARM’s traditional repair services. She also leads the Community Partner Program, developing partnerships and securing funding that expand WARM NC’s ability to deliver critical home repairs. Her work includes managing the Health Opportunities Pilot and the HUD-funded Older Adult Home Modification Program, one of only 14 initiatives awarded nationally.
Kim plays a key role in expanding WARM NC’s impact through strategic collaborations that support safe, healthy, and independent living for homeowners across southeastern North Carolina. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Coalition of Home Repair and is a founding board member of the Pender Long-Term Recovery Group. Kim is also an active member of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster and is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, supporting WARM NC’s federal grant programs and long-term recovery efforts across the region.
Sheryl serves as Chief Financial Officer at WARM NC, overseeing the organization’s financial management, office operations, and grant compliance and reporting. With a background in public accounting and tax within the for-profit sector, she brings extensive financial expertise and strategic oversight to support WARM NC’s mission and long-term sustainability.
Drawn to the nonprofit sector by a desire to make a meaningful impact in her community, Sheryl plays a key role in ensuring WARM NC’s resources are stewarded responsibly as the organization works to provide safe and healthy homes for homeowners across southeastern North Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and staying active through sports, particularly triathlons and volleyball.
Andy has been part of the WARM NC team since 2018, serving in several roles across the organization including Volunteer Coordinator, Hurricane Recovery Coordinator, Community Outreach Coordinator, Deputy Director, Director of Strategic Growth, and Chief Strategy Officer. In April 2024, the Board of Directors appointed him Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Andy works closely with the leadership team to guide WARM NC’s strategic direction, strengthen community partnerships, and expand the organization’s impact helping homeowners across southeastern North Carolina live safely and independently in their homes.
Andy’s background in disaster recovery began after volunteering in Biloxi, Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. After Hurricane Florence in 2018, he served in leadership roles with several Long Term Recovery Groups and continues to support regional recovery efforts. He currently serves on construction committees for Long Term Recovery Groups in Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties and is a member of the Board of Directors for North Carolina Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.
