Board Member
Mike works for one of WARM's supporters, First Citizens Bank. Mike had a meeting with WARM Executive Director, JC. Directly following that meeting he knew he wanted to be involved and was very excited when presented with the opportunity to join the board. If time permitted he would attend all 162 games in the New York Yankees season every year. He has a cat named Boomer and a dog named Mattingly (both after former NY Yankees players).

Loren has lived in Wilmington, NC for 13 years and is a Real Estate Agent with Network Real Estate. Loren also recently completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and is the Founder and Director of Bridge College Counseling, an organization that works with families and students on their college pursuits. When not working, Loren enjoys spending time with his wife Taylor, and their dog Cody. Loren and Taylor just welcomed their first child in the Spring.

Shameena, is in banking in her native Wilmington area. She is an avid runner and tennis player. She joined the board because she thoroughly enjoys giving back to the community and believes in WARM’s mission. Through raising awareness and knowledge of WARM in the community, she hopes to help continue the growth that WARM has been experiencing.

Tony is a retired civil engineer, with a deep history in Wilmington. He believes in being involved in civic causes that support the community. In addition to his work with WARM, Tony is the President of the NCA&T State University Alumni, Wilmington Chapter.


Laura is the Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Resort (formerly Sunspree) on Wrightsville Beach. Her background and education in hospitality make her a great fit for the Raise the Roof Gala & Auction Team, on which she has served tirelessly for several years. She joined the board to make even more of an impact on WARM’s mission by representing WARM in the community and showing appreciation to WARM’s many volunteers and donors. Laura and her husband, Chad, live in Wilmington.
Joe is a co-owner of CastleBranch and served for many years as the company’s President. He has seen firsthand the impact of the organization on our local community by serving on WARM rebuilds and starting a CastleBranch volunteer week at WARM. The mission is important to Joe because WARM changes lives by helping those who cannot help themselves. Joe joined the board because he wants others in our community to see and support this great work. He and his wife, Whitney, live in Wilmington with their two young children.

Tanner has been exposed to WARM for many years. After observing and helping his father, a former board member, on numerous WARM activities, he decided he wanted to put his skills to good use. He enjoys spending time with his parents, Ralph and Holly, his sister, Kelsey, and his yellow lab, Turner. He says, “Growing up in the family business you learn the true meaning of family and how much you are dependent among them. WARM has been a part of our family for many years and I am proud to be part of helping to grow the WARM family.”  
Vice President
Jerry is retired from IBM. He and his wife Terri moved from Wisconsin to Carolina Beach and never looked back. Jerry spends most of his time deep sea fishing and serving his church and community. Jerry’s focus is on making WARM better known in the community and increasing financial resources.

 Alexandra is the Commercial Lines Manager at Allstate, LagomarAger Agency and joined the board because she understand the important of keeping people in their homes, and keeping them safe. Alexandra is a graduate of UNCW with a Masters in Public Administration, and is heavily involved with the community. She and her cat, D'artagnan, live in Wilmington, NC.

A former Registered Nurse and Realtor, Ann brings knowledge about health and housing to WARM at a time when we are increasingly measuring and improving the impact WARM’s home repairs and accessibility upgrades have on resident health and safety. Ann is heavily involved in growing resources for WARM, especially through her service on the Raise the Roof Gala & Auction Team. She and her husband, Kyle, have raised two children and are active members of their church.

Brandy moved from Pennsylvania to NC in 2009 and began with Wells Fargo, which was Wachovia at the time. She currently manages a financial wellness program for companies in surrounding counties. Brandy moved to Wilmington in 2013 and married her husband, John, in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pups, Neo and Coco. She also enjoys volunteering whenever possible.

Lois recently retired from the YWCA where she worked for 28 years, serving as their executive director for the last seven years. She is helping provide a strong foundation for increased growth by strengthening WARM's relationships with local churches and other organizations. Most important to her are her personal relationships. She has been married to Don for 56 years. They have two children and four grandchildren. 


Jeannette has lived in Wilmington since 1978 & has been a CPA since 1997. In 2011, Jeannette opened her own CPA practice to better offer personalized service. Jeannette has been married to her husband, Ken, for over 30 years. Her & Ken have 2 children and now 3 beautiful grandchildren. She joined the board because she believes in the mission and wanted to be a part of reaching more homes.
