Jeannie Cariker "JC" Skane, Executive Director: JC oversees all of WARM, Inc.'s activities and establishes new procedures to carry out its mission. She has a long history as a volunteer and ambassador for WARM, Inc. within her church. Her vision for WARM, Inc. is to see it expand and become more diversified so that more very low income homeowners are served and more supporters receive the rewards of impacting their community. A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, JC is married to Jim, a die-hard New York Giants fan.
Leon West, Project Director: Leon is not just one of the founding members of WARM, but as the Project Director he oversees all aspects of WARM’s construction/rehabilitation projects from homeowner interview and home assessments to supply acquisitions and construction oversight. His goal for WARM is to see that it becomes more efficient in the provision of services thereby working with more households, as well as develop a larger volunteer base that is diverse in skills, age and backgrounds. Leon and his wife of 52 years, Joyce, have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Vickie Chambers, Office Manager: Vickie’s primary roles are to provide administrative support to WARM, Inc.’s Executive Director and its Board Members and to oversee and train our dedicated administrative volunteers. Vickie graduated from UNCW's MBA program in 2007 and loves working at WARM because she feels she is part of a group of dedicated people fulfilling an important mission. Her organization skills make her a great fit for the whirlwind of activity in the WARM office. She loves that she is helping people and still has the time to spend with her two boys.

Kristy Brennan, Bookkeeper: Kristy keeps WARM's financial books in order, under the direction of our Treasurer. She has a degree in accounting and works in the accounting department of a local real estate firm. Kristy loves to surf, run, and travel. She has been to Russia and several countries in Europe.
Carole Hamady, Resource Development: Carole provides leadership and expertise in event planning and other resource development means. She loves getting to know our homeowners and finds it rewarding to secure funds to help WARM serve more of them. After travelling much of the world for work and pleasure, Carole decided to make Wilmington her home in 2006.
Teresa Lee, Volunteer Recruiting and Coordination: Teresa is helping WARM, Inc. to streamline the way we communicate with and organize volunteers. Her expertise is vital to our growth and her focus is on helping volunteers realize and develop their skills in service to others. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, Teresa and her husband Murrie (a WARM, Inc. Board Member) worked with volunteer mission teams all over North Carolina as a liaison with recovery efforts in Biloxi, Mississippi to plan and execute 18 mission trips. As a result, North Carolina had more disaster volunteers work in Biloxi than the rest of the country combined!
Glynda Paternotte, URP Administrator: Glynda handles our Urgent Repair Program (URP), funded by the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. Glynda’s background includes design work on new construction and remodeling projects for living facilities for the aging. One of her recent projects is Taylor Homes, located downtown and owned by the Wilmington Housing Authority. Glynda is married to Sandy and they love to travel together.
